Logline:

My Comments:
Hades, the God of the Underworld at your service. This episode introduces Hades (played convincingly by Erik Thomson of Shortland Street), King Sisyphus, and Celesta. Erik will return a few episodes later in the classic, "Mortal Beloved", Sisyphus will return in the second season episode, "Ten Little Warlords", while it won't be until the fifth season episode, "Looking Death In the Eye" that Celesta (played by a different actress) will return.

This is also the first episode in which Gabrielle touches Xena. Up until now, Xena's touched Gabrielle; but, it wasn't until this episode that Gabrielle sought comfort from Xena when Talus went away with Celesta.
