My Comments:
I recently rewatched this episode on Oxygen. Yeah, the boing-boing scene with the stick is kinda outta place; but, this episode rocked. It's on my tape of favorite episodes that I watch every so often.

The only thing that bothered me, was the fact that this takes place right after "The Bitter Suite." It seems to me that there needed to be another episode before it.

This had to have the longest fight scene (with exception to "AFIN") ever filmed.

Xena's comment to Phiddipides that a run like this in the heat could kill him is a irony. The real Phiddipides did die shortly after making that famous run.
