A person from Xena's past sends a message to Xena telling that the "Green Dragon has become too big." So, does Xena really love Lao Ma more or did she feel she had a promise to keep?

The "rift" continues with Xena leaving Gabrielle behind to fufil he promise to Lao Ma and Gabrielle betrays Xena by arriving ahead and warning the "Green Dragon" of Xena's plan to assinate him.
