Gabrielle's betrayal of Xena's trust comes to a crescendo when the Green Dragon announces that he has no intention to let Xena go free if she promises to never return to Chin again.

The prison scene is especially poignant as Gabrielle apologizes for what she has done.

It ain't over yet folks, there's still more "rift" to come.
