Even giving this episode half a chakram is a chore. This episode was just plain
boring. A cheap knock-off of the movie The Producers, Gabrielle sacrifices
her "good nature" play to a that of a blood-filled epic that she changes
back once she realized warlords were in town to check it out.
The only funny scene was at the end with Joxer (Ted Raimi) hanging upside down
and saying, "I'm gonna tell my brother!"--his brother, of course,
is Sam Raimi--Co-Executive Producer of Xena: Warrior Princess.
