My Comments:
A fitting episode to air on Valentine's day. Ares proposes an offer to Xena. Xena contemplates the offer. But we all know she doesn't take it. The temple scene was warm and if Gabrielle had just been a tad bit late, Xena may have gone threw with it.

The casting of Paris Jefferson was Athena was brilliant. Too bad they didn't use Athena earlier in the series--especially since Xena said "...of all the Olympians you're the only one who seemed to deserve my respect."
