Logline:
After a chance meeting with a warrior named Beowulf (Renato Bartolomei), Xena sets off by herself to face the monster Grindl, which she battled once before in the distant past. Meanwhile, a young Norse woman named Brunnhilda (Brittney Powell) tells Gabrielle of Xena's first encounter with the beast. Xena: Lucy Lawless. Gabrielle: Renee O'Connor. Grindl: Glen Levy.
